Post 126

Welcome, Welcome! I have a blessing to pronounce over all of you:

I bind your mind to the mind of Christ, and it is done by the Word of God!

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

By the breath of God frost is given: Job 37:10a

Thank the Lord for snow!

Got to work on a genuine octopus furnace. 60 years old converted from coal to natural gas way back, and still working.

Popped in on baking night at the Shervish's. That was a lot of fun. I didn't know you could have so much fun in the kitchen. Oh, if only I would be allowed a picture of Ken in his apron.

The Josephs

My how they grow!

The Gilbert kids came over. It's been several years since I've seen them all...

Zac on the guitar. Check out a CD he found, nice music. Try the Carol of the Bells.

Games

My Grandmother and I working on pottery. I made a plate, she made a cup...

Below is the plate I made. My grandmother's, and mother's will be done soon.

I'm seeing stars! They're all over the place for Christmas decorations. Look for them all. They make me think of Jesus, and bring a big grin to my face. Bring on the Light, King Jesus!!

Isaiah 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Caroling, It's lovely. This was at the Erickson's annual caroling party.

All the kids. I played a great game of catch-the-kid as they jumped from one bunk to another.

Jeriah and I helped with a Child Evangelism party a the YMCA. We had the wonderful honor of telling kids about JESUS! Do you know the secret about candy canes?... Every one of them says J for Jesus when you flip it over!

Here we are at the camp ground community building. We held a sing along and told the candy cane legend there. We played games afterwards...

Round Robin. That's always fun.

Isa 61:10a I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God;

And of course the ladies had to have a shoot out.

"Darth Vader"

Temperance and Patience in their new dresses. Aren't they beautiful! Bobbie did a wonderful job on them. Get them here.

It's a baby girl! Congratulations to the Youngs.

De 26:11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.

I'll close with a little story by Patricia Ferguson, an older lady who my friends Sue and Katie care for. She really likes to tell this story, I got to visit her and hear it the other day. Listen to it here (3min 2.5mb MP3)

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

...and I mean it too!
