Post 138

I'm feeling very inspired this morning. I opened my eyes this morning to vivid colors of green grass, golden sun rays, and stark brown tree trunks outside my window. Thoughts of Praise to the Lord came exploding into my mind!

I THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERYTHING!

We went on a bike ride by the river the other day...

Looks like Jeriah got stuck on a branch here.

A hard climb

Here's my artist brother Levi, working hard. You'll have to check leviben.blogspot.com to see his work, in a while when he gets it complete.

The church met at the Johnson home this week. Oh, it was great! Mr. Heyworth told about highlights from their trip to Florida. The parents left the kids at the condo one day while they went to see an old friend. While the kids were playing volley ball a boy saw them and wanted to play too. Before long they had led him to the Lord! Also they told of an artist at Disney who they got to be a blessing to.

Mr. Alessio told about how God has the perfect balance of mercy and judgment, and read a Psalm on it. The Alessio's also told of blessings of their new home, and of Ricky's safety in a close-call auto accident.

My mom told of how God helped her find her diamond for her wedding ring after much prayer and searching last week. he provided just the right person to overhear her at one of the stores who was looking for it at. She said that she had lost her diamond once, and found it 8 months later in her purse. So after more diligent searching, my mom's diamond was found! It was hiding out in the back corner of her purse. PTL!

My dad told about the humility needed to have one's faults exposed, so that they can be corrected. He gave a recent example from the meat market where the butcher had some hamburger in his hair. When another worker told him about it, he stooped over and she removed it. He could have said "HEY! I'm not going to hear it! Leave me alone!" in pride.

James Johnson had us prayer read Romans 13 in the Bible. I was thrilled with verses 11 and 12. It just puts into scripture a song I am writing. The night is far spent, and the day is at hand!

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

It's a lot like this morning, the same idea.

Here we are at the Johnson farm...

St. Bernard puppies! They are so cute. True saints you can tell. And they're for sale too.

Jeremiah, looking pretty much normal.

Wowzers!... Charm personified.

(I better watch out around him now, he may sock me for that.)

We all went out on the hill and did some shooting.

This was my Grandpa's pistol, it was the best. Put mouse over picture for reaction.

Abraham setting up the targets

Patience, she's a sweetie

The sun made everything golden on the drive home.

The Stars and Stripes are lookin' fine

Jeriah and I are repairing this chimney. It's on a neat old house in Rochester.

J.C. and me on chimney work again.

RSS FEED!

This site now has a new Recent Updates Feed. With Feeds you can keep up with all your favorite sites (this one of course) without having to constantly check them. See the Feed tutorial I created here.

I announced this last time, but I didn't quite have all the infrastructure set up on the site for it. Looks like it's all in place now. It took a lot of work, so I better be getting some thank you gifts soon! Not really. Give God a gift instead. And not money, He has enough of that.
