Post 235

We worked in the Child Evangelism Fellowship tent at the county fair. It was great! I just loved it! Just telling the gospel story, the greatest story that has ever been. People were being saved!

We got to tell many many kids and their parents about Jesus. I believe I was able to lead three kids to salvation, possibly four.

That boy on the left was feeling some conviction about the time this picture was taken. He got saved!

We gave out animal balloons.

At the Figure 8 Race...

Smile for the camera!

Working with the boys.

We went to a play. It was one of the first places we've gone with just the two of us since Amity was born, and it was a lot of fun.

Out to dinner with Grandma.

We had a little scare with Amanda going into labor seven weeks early and ended up in the hospital for 3 days. Our two main prayers were that the labor would stop and that the baby would turn back into the right position. Both were answered, praise the Lord!

Her sisters came to help while she took it easy for a couple weeks...

Jemima!

Katie!

At Laura and Matt's wedding.

Katie stayed for a week.

Dessert Oasis!

Pretending to read the Bible.

Amanda's grandma made a blanket for the baby. Hand embroidered.

Amanda and I were hoping to be able to take a little trip for our 3-year anniversary. We didn't know if we would be able to with the baby due any time. But praise the Lord everything worked out great and we did it!

This is The Hankerd Inn. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here three years ago. You can see it at the bottom of Post 187. It was neat to be back again. We stayed three days.

We went to the Jackson Coffee company where we had spent some quality talking time before we were married. (Back then.) This time we read and talked over my notes from our courting days. Such good memories! God has blessed me a whole bunch to be married to Amanda.

God has been good!
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22
(Hear the song)

Visited the Youngs, a faithful couple and old friends of Amanda.

When we got home, we saw that some of our friends from Church had made us "welcome home" signs and hung them around our house.

We spent a couple days working at the Joseph's home preparing for Benjamin Joseph and Leah Tuckfield's wedding (standing in the center wearing black and white).

Four days before the baby was born

A friend and customer made this beautiful stained glass balloon.

He made these stained glass windows for us.

Amanda painting away in the dining room.

We had Jim and Bethany Niezgoda over with their boys, Ezra and Noah. We talked about how if you're blind in your natural reasoning, you will see spiritually; but if you see in your natural reasoning, you will be blind spiritually. "Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth." John 9:41
