Strike up the band, and praise the Lord!

That Sammy certainly is a spunky one... can't say much for Zack on this one though.

No, Levi is not a bird brain. However there seems to be a bird that has a boy brain.

A protestor, God bless him. He liked his picture taken.

Mr., and Mrs. Joe Laquiere. They have been a big help and encouragement to our family. I think the biggest thing that I have learned form them is a proper outlook on life. God made everything, then he looked at it and said it was VERY GOOD (Genesis 1:31). When you follow God everything just works. You don't have to push and shove and try to get things to turn out. It's just God, things just work. Mr. Laquire says the biggest gift God has given him is simply that he is a man. No different than any other man, just a simple man. Because when God makes a man, he makes him perfect. He is fully capable of doing anything that needs done. Because God made him.

I have also learned much from them on the principle of Mr 10:9 "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." Husbands with wives, children with parents. Families are best when they're together, not off different directions.

And another thing that they have talked on, the most important thing. And that is the amazing truth that GOD WANTS US TO KNOW HIM, not know about Him, not know His truths, but KNOW HIM! Ho 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

There is a cloister of friends living with and around the Laquieres all wanting to know God more. We used to go down there (Saint Claire Shores) every Friday night and visit with them, I remember those times with much joy. Very good conversations, and wonderful people.
