It snowed Thanksgiving morning, it's great!

Thanksgiving table

All Mom's hard work. I mean she really went all out.

We had a bountiful scrumptious feast. Turkey of course, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, fruit bread, shrimp, salmon, salad, roles, bamboo hearts, appetizer tray, 2 types of spaghetti and sauces, two types of cranberry salad, cake, pies everywhere, and last but not least Coke! We certainly didn't starve, in fact I don't think we will have to get any other food for a week. I found this verse today, and it reminded me of Thanksgiving.

Nehemiah 8:9b,10 This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
See all the blessing, see all the rejoicing and celebration. It is a great time after a repentance. That is where joy comes from! God!

After our feasting we went to the Heyworth's (bringing them portions(pies) of course). Their grandparents and 2 cousins were there also, and 4 new puppies. I think the puppies got the most attention of all. They weren't afraid of pictures either, so here you have 'em...

Here's the cousins with the puppies. How ya' like Steven in the background? Funny huh?

Here he is a little more natural.

Now we go out to the sledding hill. What better thing to do when you have snow, than to enjoy it...

There's Ele having all the fun.

Now for the day after Thanksgiving... We went to a get together at the Nanney's. Each family came with a song to sing. They were so fun.

Then all the people either read letters of thankfulness they had written, or told of the things they were thankful for. It was wonderful. It was like God was flowing through the place like a river of thankfulness and love. Most of the thankfulness was for caring parents and family members.

Then towards the end of the night we had a big snow ball fight just to let each other know how much we loved them. Life couldn't be better!

Girls, doing what they do best... Sitting around.
