I am blessed with peace today. The Lord has been blessing me with peace for so long now.

God's glory is something exciting. I've been thinking on Lu 2:14 lately, and you've got me thinking on it even more. With special emphasis on the GLORY.

Lu 9:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Isa 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Ro 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

Your right Mrs. Thompson, it did not hold much sympathy. I may think I have sorrows about people I've known; I can't imagine the regrets if this happened to my friends or worse yet my family. Especially seeing all the big hopes and dreams of the parents for their children to live for God, as noted by the bold and drastic means they took to keep them from evil (consistent involvement in. church, home school, "christian" music, father an Elder in the church, discouragement of improper relationships) It is very sad that Satan sucked these poor young children into such a delusion of happiness. They did not know about true happiness, they thought they would find it in each other. Lord, help them find true happiness. Happy in the man who will put his trust in God. The Lord kept me in prayer over these young people throughout the night after I sent out that email, mostly for the 18 yr old boy. Lord, give him a soft repentant heart of confession, that he may come to full freedom in Christ. I feel for him most deeply.

The main thing I that jumped out to me in the article was the striking similarities between my circles, and the ones with whom this tragedy happened; And saw it as a stiff warning to not allow outward conformance to replace true surrender to God. It reminded me of so many families I've seen fall to shambles, who started out with such high ideals.

But, I want to breed hope. It doesn't have to be that way. People can have a heart for God, people can raise families with children who know God; Who sore even higher than their parents; Who are not delusioned by vain traditions, but are a true-to-life friend of God. I was sad to hear of your own close call with a family tragedy, be assured you aren't alone. God grant you unity, and love.

These comments are just off-the-cuff. So according to this very elaborate disclaimer, I reserve the freedom to revise these comments at a later date if I think of something I should have said. But I wanted to get these thoughts off to you before too late.
