Joy's Innumerable

It was another grand day with the body of Christ. It was such a blessing to see, and hear of what the Lord has done in peoples lives. He has changed shipwrecks into simple lives of joy.

I think one of the things that really set the day off straight was a bit of reconciliation that happened early on. I guess there was a pretty intense discussion that went on between some of the men last night. One of the men told me this morning that it kept him awake 1:00-3:00 this morning. He came to the conclusion that he had spoken beyond what he had seen, and experienced, and knew. I thought for sure he was referring to the scripture I had unwittingly read last night. So I read it. It wasn't what he was referring to, but it was God's perfect word for his situation. That's how God works, always slipping in blessings on us unexpectedly. He said that reading was exactly what he was talking about.

1 John 1:1-4
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

As we start off the day, we have the Youngs here. I had the tools out for a bit, and the boys just thought they were great. Here's Eli, and Justice...

Then the church started showing up. We met at our house today. Here's Andrew

Aren't they great?! A bunch of kids on the swing. See the one in the middle, the cute one (I'm sure that will pin it right down), she's Marissa. Marissa is Ashley's little sister. Ashley, her mother, and her little sister came to visit us today. (See Ashley from Photo Journal Post 58 (13th pic down).

Jeremiah getting some shade. I have no idea what the ironing board is for.

Sorry, the only picture I got of their dad Josh Young is from the back (13 pics up, titled "The blessed parents", in orange). I guess the whole Young family is in the video too.

Ray (center) made Jesus his personal savior just a month or two ago. Here he is with Mr., and Jake Roselli. Keep him in your prayers.

Sara with my "Blue Louie" puppet, it sure got lots of use today. (and tangled a lot)

I took some of the kids on a tractor ride in the woods.

Some of us walked over to Caribou Coffee and enjoyed some of their fine coffee drinks. The perfect way to top off the perfect day.
